Living your Yoga - Part 2 - The Niyamas Exploring the Ethical Guidance's of Yoga Saturday tbc September
Do you feel intrigued to learn more about yoga, and create a deeper understanding of what the practice of yoga can bring to your life?
Yoga is not just the asana (phyiscal) practice, asana is only one part of a yogic way of living; it forms part of the 8 limbs of yoga. The Yoga path, is a path that takes the mind from a state of fluctuation and disturbance to a state of ease and peace. So join us to delve deeper into Living your Yoga.
We will be exploring two of the 8 limbs of yoga, the Yamas (social restraints) and the Niyamas (self-disciplines). The practice of the Yamas and Niyamas —the ethical guidances of yoga can lead to a more fulfilling life and a deeper understanding of what it means to practice yoga.
Join us for the second of our two part series of workshops and learn/gain a deeper understanding of the Niyamas and how to implement them into your life both on & off the mat.
During this workshop, we will explore each Niyama, how they relate to us as individuals, with their relevance on our Yoga mats and in our daily lives. We will explore different interpretations of these ancient principles and how they relate practically in our modern world.
The workshop will include:
Exploration of the Niyamas to gain an in-depth understanding of each one
A fluid Asana practice to embody the principles
Restorative Yoga, Mediation, Mudra & Mantra
Yummy vegan snacks, warming tea & water
