Join us for this fun & energetic two hour Arm Balance Workshop. The workshop will begin with an energetic 30-minute vinyasa sequence to heat the body, and then we'll move onto strength & conditioning exercises to activate shoulders & core ready for take off!
We will explore various arm balances and safe transitions, such as: Crow Flying Crow Side Crow & extensions Eight Angle Peacock Flying Splits Flying Lizard Flying Pigeon
The workshop will finish with a short grounding relaxation to restore balance.
You will build strength, a deeper understanding of alignment and technique, and will most definitely surprise yourself!
Arm balances are a wonderful addition to any yoga practice and will leave you feeling strong, powerful and confident.
Who is it for? This two hour workshop is open to students of all levels from beginner practitioners (that attend classes regularly) to advanced students. It’s aimed at anybody that wants to learn & explore arm balances in greater detail, get stronger in their yoga practice and work towards more challenging postures.
Prerequisites: A regular yoga practice is recommended.
